The Charlton Athletic manager is reportedly keen on speaking to Queens Park Rangers.

Many Queens Park Rangers fans would be happy with the appointment of Charlton Athletic manager Lee Boywer.
Bowyer is said to have been sounded out about the R’s vacancy (London Evening Standard) and it is claimed he would be keen on speaking to the Championship club (Sky Sports).
The 42-year-old has led Charlton to fifth in League One in his first full season in charge, and in difficult circumstances to boot.
However, his contract is due to expire at the end of the campaign and despite saying he will sign an extension at The Valley, an offer has yet to materialise.
This is how those of a QPR persuasion are reacting to the rumour…
This is Bowyer’s first ever senior managerial role, with the former England midfielder having also begun his playing career at Charlton.
But sentiment may not stand in the way of a chance to manage at Championship level, assuming of course that QPR survive this season.

The R’s currently sit 17th having won just one of their last 15 league games, a run of form that cost Steve McClaren his job on Monday.
Would Bowyer be a good appointment for QPR?
