Hill swapped Queens Park Rangers for Glasgow Rangers last year but won’t be coming back despite leaving Ibrox in June.

Former Glasgow Rangers defender Clint Hill will not return to the Gers’ English namesakes, Queens Park Rangers.
The 38-year-old was released by Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha in May and had been training with League Two sides Chesterfield and Carlisle United.
He was later offered a trial by QPR – the club he left for Ibrox 15 months ago – but the Championship side confirmed on Friday they would not be signing Hill for a second time.

Things had appeared to be going well for the Liverpudlian, who helped the Hoops’ Under-23s to a 5-0 win against a Bolton Wanderers side containing the 47-cap former Brazil international Julio Baptista on Tuesday.
But despite suffering from a shortage of defenders, QPR say they were unable to agree a deal for the player who many Glasgow Rangers fans were disappointed to lose, after a season in which he finished the club’s fourth top scorer with six goals from 30 appearances.
