Marc Bircham has left his role as first team coach, but QPR fans hope to see him return one day
The BBC reported Friday that Marc Bircham has left his role as first team coach with Queens Park Rangers after 18 months. The club has confirmed that new manager Steve McClaren has decided to replace the 40-year-old with Matt Gardiner joining as assistant coach from Kidderminster Harriers.
The news comes as a real blow to Bircham, as he had worked tirelessly with ex-boss Ian Holloway to nurture and develop the young players who are beginning to make an impression in the first team.

It’s hard to imagine the former Canadian international not returning to Loftus Road in some capacity one day but until that day comes, Bircham can certainly continue to add some more strings to his impressive looking bow. Whatever his next move is, QPR fans will always welcome him back with open arms.
