Queens Park Rangers stunned Spurs on Saturday, and their fans were less than impressed with Tottenham’s performance, but thrilled by their own team.

How did QPR supporters react to their excellent win over Spurs at the weekend? By giving themselves a well-deserved pat on the back of course.

Interviewers from video network Winkball were outside Loftus Road to capture the emotion of supporters as they left the ground after their 1-0 win.

Needless to say there were lots of delirious comments and happy faces, and there were some wise intelligible comments in there too.

Singled out for praise were the tactics of boss Mark Hughes, and goalscorer Adel Taarabt.

Fans commented that it was in fact their Loftus Road crowd which inspired the defeat, and provided the atmosphere which rattled the opposition.

“The big sides don’t like coming here, we are right on top of them.”

They are right. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and now Tottenham have all lost at QPR, netting the Rs a crucial 12 points, taking their tally to 34, three points above the drop zone.

With the diving debate in full swing thanks to Ashley Young, supporters are also keeping an eagle eye out on attempts to con the referees.

QPR are one team who recently gave away a penalty to Young at Old Trafford, and their fans feel they have been harshly judged all season, suffering eight red cards, more than any other side.

Joey Barton had words with Scott Parker late in the game which led to a furious confrontation between the pair with Barton appearing to accuse the England captain of going to ground too easily.

“Spurs players were going down far too easy. It proved cheats never prosper.”

What do you think of the comments?
