Queens Park Rangers continued their unbeaten run with a 2-0 win over Millwall on Wednesday with Jake Bidwell particularly impressing.

Queens Park Rangers continued their fine form with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Millwall at Loftus Road on Wednesday night.
Goals from Massimo Luongo and Ebere Eze made sure the points stayed in west London but special praise must be reserved for Jake Bidwell.
The left-back provided the cross for Eze’s goal and generally looked lively throughout the game, often stretching the Millwall midfield with his energetic runs.
Defensively, Bidwell had been below par in QPR’s opening four games, but he looked a completely different player against the Lions. The former Brentford man was strong in the tackle and looks a lot more confident than he did a month previous.

According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old managed an average rating of 7.46, was credited with completing 69.6% of his passes and even managed two shots at goal.
Admittedly, there are still a lot of areas for Bidwell to work on, but QPR fans will be delighted to see him playing so well and hopefully it continues going into the Norwich City game.

The win over Millwall has seen Rangers climb to 16th and the whole squad is certainly brimming with confidence at the moment, including Bidwell.
The former Everton graduate will be an important cog against the Canaries on Saturday and will need to maintain his strong performances to keep Daniel Starke’s side at bay.

Bidwell signed for QPR in the summer of 2016 from neighbours Brentford and has gone on to make 62 Championship appearances, scoring two goals in the process.
