Many Queens Park Rangers fans have been left unconvinced by the 52-year-old.
The news that QPR have appointed Chris Ramsey as manager until the end of the season has been met with mixed reaction on Twitter by supporters.
The 52-year-old appears to have done a fine job so far at Loftus Road, leading the side to an admirable performance against Southampton – and then a sensational 2-0 win at Sunderland.
What makes Ramsey stand out, of course, is the fact that he led QPR to their first away win all season – with the club having lost 11 out of 11 under Harry Redknapp.
The way in which the R’s coach, then, has turned morale and performance levels around suggests a bright future lies ahead for him in west London.
Well, that’s one way of looking at it – that it’s a long overdue sensible appointment from Tony Fernandes.
The other approach, as many QPR supporters are adopting, is to question why someone with no managerial experience has been given such a huge opportunity on the back of two games. Fernandes has even said Ramsey could be QPR boss in the long term and beyond the current season.
Here’s a selection of some of the best QPR fan reaction on Twitter. Where do you stand on the Ramsey debate – smart move or yet more rash decision making?
