Could Sheffield United now pursue a deal for the former Queens Park Rangers defender?

Three months after he was linked with Sheffield United, defender Jack Robinson is officially a free agent after leaving Queens Park Rangers.
QPR announced Robinson’s departure on Tuesday, stating he turned down a ‘very attractive offer’ to stay at the club.
And though there has been a dearth of follow up reports, the Daily Mirror previously claimed that Sheffield United were leading the race to sign the 24-year-old.
Whether the Blades choose to pursue a deal for the former Liverpool player remains to be seen, however.
Chris Wilder’s side relied heavily on Enda Stevens in Robinson’s natural, left-side role last season, despite having Daniel Lafferty as a ready-made alternative.

Although Robinson spent much of 2017-18 occupying a central role, and his versatility could come in handy at Bramall Lane, with Wilder favouring a fluid system.
