Thomas Christiansen’s Leeds United have won against Queens Park Rangers in the Championship.

Leeds United returned to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, as they got the better of Queens Park Rangers 3-1 away from home at Loftus Road.
The West Yorkshire outfit headed into the match against QPR on the back of a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa at Elland Road in the league.
Leeds have a better team than Rangers, and they showed that in London on Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 win.

After a goalless first half, Kemar Roofe put Leeds in the lead on 63 minutes, and added the second just five minutes later.
QPR halved the deficit through Pawel Wszolek on 90 minutes, but Roofe completed his hat-trick just minutes later.
Former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was following the match, and he gave his opinion on the performance of Thomas Christiansen’s side against Rangers at full time.
Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds (4:58pm): “A great performance from the team. You have got to say, yes, we put ourselves in a bit of pressure in the final five minutes from a massive mistake from Wiedwald, but we had the strength to see the game out and get that third goal as well.”

The win against QPR means that Leeds are well and truly back in the race for the Championship playoffs.
The Whites have recovered from their recent slump in form and are playing good football at the moment.
