Tim Sherwood has claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will want to ‘push the blame to Arsenal’ if he secures a transfer to Chelsea on deadline day.
The former Tottenham boss thinks Aubameyang is like an ‘Erling Haaland-type’ player, who ‘doesn’t want to get involved too much in the build up’, as Arsenal fans saw week in and week out for a number of years.
The 33-year-old left the Emirates Stadium under a dark cloud back in January when he fell out with Mikel Arteta, who stripped him of the armband and then allowed him to leave for Barcelona.

Aubameyang’s lack of discipline was highlighted as the reason behind Arteta’s call to get rid of him, but he is now set to return to the Premier League stage.
It will be interesting to see how the player fairs at Stamford Bridge, as Sherwood thinks Aubameyang will want to ‘finish above’ his former side this season, as he told Sky Sports News.
“I think Aubameuang is that Erling Haaland-type who doesn’t want to get involved too much in the build-up,” said Sherwood. “Whereas Lukaku is being asked to come with his back to goal on the halfway line. It’s not his game.
“I think what Aubameyang gives you is that he stretches teams. They have a lot of number 10’s, who need players to create space for them and Aubameyang is perfect for that.
“I think he would be great. I think his attitude is questionable. You have to ask questions about his attitude with the way that he has behaved in the Premier League with Arsenal. Mikel (Arteta) wasn’t prepared to suffer it.
“Thomas Tuchel is and he would realise that. And he comes back with something to prove to Arsenal. He will feel aggrieved as well. Pushed out. I think he will try to push the blame to Arsenal and the hierarchy there, score goals against Arsenal and finish above them.”

THOMAS TUCHEL REUINTES WITH AUBAMEYANG
The Chelsea boss worked with the Gabon star when they were at Borussia Dortmund, so he will know full well that he likes to appear late, now and again.
Arsenal have started the new Premier League season like a house on fire and they have won their opening five matches.
The striker that Arteta brought in to replace both Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette was Gabriel Jesus and he has been a revelation since moving to London.
All in all, come the end of the season, it’s going to be interesting to see where Arsenal and Chelsea end up, as well as the number of goals Aubameyang scores.
