The Socceroos never really got going in the match, with both their goals coming from the penalty spot.
Celtic’s Rogic was expected to have a far greater influence on proceedings in the World Cup qualification contest, but he did not have his best match.
Indeed, some Australian fans were accusing Celtic midfielder Rogic of being unfit, as he looked tired towards the end of the contest.
Rogic has arguably had the best season of his career at Celtic so far, but it seems that he has not taken his club form into the international break.
Celtic’s next match comes against Kilmarnock on Friday evening, and there are question marks over whether Rogic will be fit enough to start in that match, after so much travelling over the international break.
