Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after seeing Gareth Bale’s assist for Wales on Tuesday evening.
The winger once again proved himself to be the Wales team’s most important player, delivering a pin-point cross for a last-minute winner nodded in by Dan James.
Of course, a cross is only any good if it’s suited for the player heading it in, but when you watch Bale’s assist, remember that the man on the end of it is Dan James, who stands at just five feet and seven inches, so the ball had to be absolutely perfect for the Manchester United ace to get on the end of it.
As you can imagine, Spurs fans had plenty to say after seeing Bale’s assist.
Many fans lauded the winger’s delivery, while one fan made a great point about how Harry Kane would thrive off of those types of balls.
Hopefully, we can see a bit more of that at club level from Bale between now and the end of the season.
