Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Leeds glovesman Illan Meslier for his stunning performance earlier today.
The 21-year-old was superb as Marcelo Bielsa’s men delivered a thoroughly impressive display at Elland Road to record a 3-1 win over Spurs.
As SofaScore shows, the Frenchman only made two saves, but it was his commanding nature which stood out in Yorkshire earlier.
It should be noted that both of the £5 million man’s saves came from shots inside the box – they were by no means easy stops.
Additionally, Meslier’s ability on the ball is excellent.
The £16,500-a-week man completed 21 passes and had 36 touches of the ball, oozing calmness which appeared to transmit to the defenders in front of him.

Sadly, Meslier couldn’t leave Elland Road with a clean sheet after Heung-min Son netted his 17th Premier League goal of the campaign.
However, the Leeds No.1 has still amassed a fine number of shutouts for such a young shot-stopper.
Meslier has kept ten clean sheets in 34 Premier League outings this season, in what is his debut campaign in England’s top-flight.

Only Kasper Schmeichel, Hugo Lloris, Emiliano Martinez, Edouard Mendy and Ederson have kept more than him, which is quite impressive.
He was so good today, that even the Tottenham fans – presumably hurting from the defeat – found time to praise him.
Let’s see what the Spurs fans on Twitter have been saying about the Leeds wonderkid…
