Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, David Seaman has been waxing-lyrical about Jack Grealish after his excellent performance in the Manchester derby.
The £100m man got the nod in the derby, and he made sure to take his opportunity against Manchester United.
He didn’t score, but he was an absolute menace down that left wing, he caused so many problems for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and co, and Seaman was very impressed by what he saw.
What’s been said?
Seaman had nothing but good things to say about Grealish.
“I like Jack a lot, he’s got so much more than people realise. His control and his ability to go past a player, it’s not with pace, it’s with skill. He has that ability to wait and he must be watching their feet as they go for the ball, because as soon as they make an attempt he moves it to the side and they can’t get near him. I enjoy watching him, he made a long-field pass and he didn’t even control it, he just half volley passed it to someone, it was pure class,” Seaman said.

Finding his feet
Grealish is finally hitting form at Manchester City.
The former Aston Villa man didn’t have the most electric start to life in Manchester, and to be honest, we can’t blame him.
Let’s be real, joining arguably the best team in the world is a daunting prospect, especially when you’re arriving for £100m, but now, Grealish has settled and he’s showing his class.
Don’t be surprised if he plays a key part in this title race between now and the end of the season.
