Norwich City right-back and Crystal Palace defender have both been linked with moves.

Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka had a game to forget for England’s under-21 side last night.

The Eagles star looked nervous against a talented France team, and scored an injury time own goal to condemn his side to a 2-1 loss.

Wan-Bissaka’s uncharacteristic performance was perhaps partly attributable to the distracting transfer links, with Manchester United having two bids knocked back for him, The Mail report.

United are also said to be monitoring Norwich’s Max Aarons, via Sky Sports, who was oddly left out of the England under-21 squad altogether despite a superb season.

Ex-Palace defender Danny Gabbidon sent a message after the game about Aarons, which was a clear dig at Wan-Bissaka’s performance.

Manchester United have not met Crystal Palace’s asking price yet for Wan-Bissaka.

Gabbidon is suggesting they might now turn to Aarons after the right-back’s disappointing display.

If that happens, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parrish will probably be smiling from ear to ear.
