Aston Villa stars Tyrone Mings and Anwar El Ghazi appeared to be at odds during tonight’s game against West Ham United.

Former Aston Villa players Stan Collymore and Lee Hendrie are both backing Tyrone Mings after an incident involving the Villa defender and teammate Anwar El Ghazi.
El Ghazi looked to push his head towards Mings after a fiery conversation in the wake of West Ham pressure on their box.
Mings was apparently having a go at the 24-year-old because of his inability to show more defensive desire and help out in their third of the pitch.
It was a incident that didn’t go down too well with referee Mike Dean, who verbally rebuked both without showing any cards.
For Collymore, Mings was in the right, taking to Twitter to deliver his instant reaction on the incident.
Hendrie meanwhile, on punditry duties with BBC Radio 5 Live, similarly believed that the Villa defender was correct to call out the Dutch midfielder for his lackadaisical approach to countering the Hammers’ threat.
As quoted by the BBC (16/09 live match page, 20:58), he said: “I saw the reaction from Dean Smith and John Terry and they didn’t look happy. I like the fact Tyrone Mings has pulled him up saying ‘why aren’t you defending?’
“To do that and clash with your team-mate, it wouldn’t surprise me if he did get the drag [replaced at half-time].”

Whatever happened did not impact on Smith’s second half selection, with El Ghazi appearing after the interval.
What the Villa boss has to say about it all will certainly be interesting post-match.
Despite Villa’s best efforts, the match would go on to finish 0-0. That’ll be something of a disappointment to the home side considering they eventually enjoyed a man advantage over their visitors.
Still, it’s a point that could prove valuable come the end of the English Premier League season.
