Wolverhampton Wanderers take on Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday in the Championship, and HITC pundits give their predictions on the likely outcome.

Dan Coombs

Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Wolves have won five of their last six games and could make Brighton wait a little longer in their bid to secure promotion. A top 10 finish for Wolves might be too much to ask but a victory will give them at least a shot heading into the remaining fixtures.

Danny Owen

Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-2 Brighton & Hove Albion

Wolves’ run of five straight wins was ended by Bristol City as the Manager of the Month curse struck Paul Lambert. And don’t expect them to get back to winning ways against a Brighton side grinding out results on route to promotion.

Alfie Potts-Harmer

Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Wolves’ five game winning streak came to an end against Bristol City last weekend, and I can see them losing once again to a soon-to-be Premier League Brighton side. Wolves have the third worst home record in the Championship, whilst Brighton have the second highest points haul on their travels. A narrow Brighton win for me.

Peter Bowler

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-2 Brighton & Hove Albion

Despite their recent winning streak coming to an end, I still think Wolves will put up a good fight against the league leaders this weekend, and wouldn’t be surprised to see this ending up being a close game, with Brighton narrowly edging it.

Che Thomas

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-2 Brighton & Hove Albion

This is an intriguing game, as Brighton will know that if they win their last few games they’ll be champs. But Wolves are much improved, and have won their last three home games. Going to plump for a narrow Seagulls win.

Brighton have momentum with them once more, and that should see them right in what is set to be a tight game against an improved Wolves side.
