West Bromwich Albion face Stoke City on Saturday in the Premier League, and HITC pundits give their predictions on the likely outcome.

West Brom striker Salomon Rondon is out of form and looked poor in midweek against Middlesbrough, and his struggles could continue. The man I’m backing to score the winner is ex-Baggies striker Saido Berahino, to get his Stoke career off to a flier against the club where he made his name.

Once again, West Brom and Stoke can head into the final months of the season with not a care in the world. Both are safe from relegation and aiming for a top half finish so expect a tight encounter between two very evenly matched sides.

Surely this game has a draw written all over it. West Brom and Stoke are in very similar positions this season, already having little to play for in terms of fighting for a European spot or to avoid relegation. Stoke are unbeaten in four, including some tough games, but I expect them to have to settle for a point at the Hawthorns.

West Brom continue to push to be the best of the rest and they should just edge out a Stoke side enjoying a fine campaign of their own. The Baggies will have been disappointed to let a lead slip against Middlesbrough and should follow that up with a narrow victory here.

The Baggies currently occupy that 8th position, but Stoke are marginally the better form just behind them. Despite being made more interesting by the recent moves of Marc Wilson (Stoke to West Brom via Bournemouth) and Saido Berahino (West Brom to Stoke), I’m finding it hard to call a winner here, and a draw it shall have to be. These are two relatively even, half-decent sides who should be top half come May.
