Tottenham Hotspur take on Everton on Sunday in the Premier League, and HITC pundits give their predictions on the likely outcome.
Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Everton
This game has the potential to be a real spectacle with Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku both in impressive form, but two mean defences could combine to make it a cagey affair. I’m tipping a home victory with Harry Kane netting a penalty.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane
Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Everton
With Harry Kane on fire, three hat tricks to his name in 2017 alone, most teams would travel to White Hart Lane quaking with fear. Not an Everton side more resilient than ever under Ronald Koeman, however. The Toffees are a tough nut to crack and will be at their organised best on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Everton
Tottenham’s 4-0 drubbing of Stoke City makes me fancy them to get past Everton. The Toffees have lost more games than they’ve won away from home this season, and whilst they’ve shown themselves to be a real force on their day, I’m backing Tottenham for a professional 2-0 win.
Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Everton
Everton have been flying recently but home advantage and the recent hammering of Stoke means Tottenham will be buzzing and should overcome Ronald Koeman’s side with relative ease provided their first-choice centre-back pairing is fit and available.
Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Everton
Tottenham’s hopes of a win hinge on their Belgian centre back pairing being fit. Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld have handled Toffees livewire Romelu Lukaku well when they’ve met in the league before, and if they feature Spurs should have the edge.
Everton’s Romelu Lukaku
Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Everton
Tottenham rose to second after thumping Stoke 4-0 last week, but won’t have things quite as easy against Everton, who harbour top-four ambitions of their own. I’m going for a draw here.
