Can the Reds build on their impressive win over Arsenal? A draw here won’t do much for either side but it won’t kill their top four chances. City are vulnerable after their Champions League exit and this should be a very entertaining encounter.

A really difficult game to call, both these teams have shown signs of incompetence in defence in recent outings, and if nothing else, there should be goals at the Etihad. Liverpool have an excellent record against the top six this season, but Man City have won 4 and drawn 2 of their last six in the Premier League, so I’m going for a score-draw.

Manchester City will be smarting from their Champions League exit and could take it out on a Liverpool team that has been hit and miss this season. I expect a narrow victory for the Blues in their own backyard.

How much will their CL exit impact their performance? I think Pep and the players will have a point to prove, and I think the home team will edge it.

City will be keen to bounce back from their Champions League exit and can edge closer to qualification for next season’s competition by beating their top four rivals on Sunday. Liverpool boss Klopp masterminded a 4-1 victory at the Etihad last season, however, I suspect he won’t have the same luck this time around. Neither side can defend so there should be goals aplenty.
