Leeds pulled off a shock result when they beat the Owls earlier in the season, but I am tipping them to fall narrowly short of doing the double over their rivals. The loser of this game will be looking over their shoulders as the play-off race heats up, and we could see a cagey affair as a result.

Expect a feisty Yorkshire derby between the two play-off hopefuls. Leeds have struggled badly against deep-lying defences of late but there should be more space against Carlos Carvalhal’s visitors. A tough game to call at Elland Road. Wednesday had all the momentum prior to their defeat to Brentford, whilst Leeds are in the middle of a mini-wobble. If either side were to win they’d be excellently placed for a top 6 finish, but both may see it as must not lose, and I’m predicting a score-draw.

The fixture both sets of fans have been dreading. Wednesday could have given themselves a three-point cushion over Leeds by beating Brentford on Tuesday but go into Saturday’s game behind their Yorkshire rivals on goal difference instead. Leeds will be suitably rested and will fancy their chances against a side who have conceded their last three goals from set pieces.
