Chelsea face Arsenal at lunchtime on Saturday in the Premier League, and HITC pundits give their predictions on the likely outcome.

Dan Coombs

Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal

Arsenal are pretty tough to figure out at present, so much so that they will probably beat Bayern Munich and lose to Sutton United. A trip to Chelsea is the last thing they need after losing to Watford, especially with the Blues determined to exact revenge after a mauling at The Emirates earlier this season. Chelsea win.

Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal

As we approach Spring time, is Arsene Wenger’s annual collapse starting to take shape? A home defeat to Watford in midweek has provoked a fair amount of panic from Gunners fans and a Chelsea side unfortunate not to earn three points at Anfield could take full advantage.

Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal

I think this is a difficult game to call following Arsenal’s defeat to Watford. The Gunners now go to Stamford Bridge needing a win, and that could be dangerous for both sides. Chelsea appear a well-oiled machine but we all know Arsenal can be sensational when at the best, as we saw at Southampton. I still think the Blues will nick it, and potentially end the title race in February.

Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal

League leaders Chelsea will know that they can all but end Arsenal’s title challenge with a victory this weekend and with home advantage the Blues should just edged it.

Che Thomas

Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal

If Chelsea win this, the title is surely as good as theirs. And Antonio Conte’s side will de desperate to repay Arsenal for a 3-0 hammering earlier in the season – with the Gunners suffering a disappointing home defeat to Watford, I think the Blues go into the game as strong favourites. Diego Costa winner for me.

The Blues are a different proposition to the one which lost 3-0 at the Emirates back in September and I expect them to inflict further misery on Arsene Wenger’s side, who don’t often get a lot at Stamford Bridge.
