The Robins’ decision to keep faith with Lee Johnson is either refreshingly commendable or highly foolish. A 5-0 battering by Preston is hardly what the doctor ordered in a relegation battle and their kamikaze defending will be exposed once again versus Wolves.

At home, Bristol City make it tough for teams, and I think their sheer desperation for three points will just push them over the line in this game. I expect it to be a tight contest, but I think City will just nick a win here.

Despite being only 15th in the Championship, Wolves have fared better on their travels than the likes of Leeds and Reading this season. With five wins on the bounce, Paul Lambert’s side are arguably the divisions form team, whilst Bristol City find themselves just a point above the relegation zone. I’m predicting a sixth straight win for Wolves at Ashton Gate, but it won’t be easy.

Wolves’ superb recent form should tilt this game in their favour. The visitors are now 11 points clear of the relegation spots and will be looking to push ahead of next season. Bristol City have been inconsistent lately, which is at least better than some of the crazy losing runs they’ve been on this season, but they could lack the confidence to beat Wolves on Saturday.
