West Bromwich Albion slipped to defeat on Tuesday night, losing 2-1 away at West Ham United in a disappointing result.
Sam Allardyce’s men had equalised through Matheus Pereira’s goal, but Michail Antonio grabbed the winner to give West Ham all three points.
The Baggies remain in the relegation zone on just 11 points, five points adrift of safety as Allardyce desperately attempts to keep them in the top flight.
Fans would be forgiven for being a little down after Tuesday’s defeat, but pundit Trevor Sinclair has offered some praise to one Baggies ace.
Defender Semi Ajayi has impressed at times this season, and after scoring against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, he impressed Sinclair last night.
Ajayi made three clearances and won four aerial battles in a decent display, with Sinclair suggesting that the Nigerian is getting ‘better all the time’.

Ajayi cost just £1.5million from Rotherham United in 2019, with Slaven Bilic’s move now looking like something of a bargain.
The 27-year-old will hope to continue impressing this season, and he can certainly help West Brom stay in the Premier League under Allardyce.
