Sky pundit Kris Boyd has waxed lyrical about Tottenham Hotspur manager target Julian Nagelsmann in a bid to replace Antonio Conte.

Perhaps unfortunately for Spurs, it has been reported that the former Bayern Munich boss is waiting to see if there a vacancy at Real Madrid first.

But Sky pundit Kris Boyd has in a way, urged Tottenham Hotspur to bring in Julian Nagelsmann as their next manager.

Sky pundit Kris Boyd raves about Tottenham manager target Nagelsmann

It is widely accepted that Nagelsmann remains one of the best coaches in world football and his sacking at Bayern Munich was exceptionally harsh.

None other than World Cup-winning Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni also once praised the German, as shared by Florian Plettenburg, addressing him as a ‘great coach’ and how inspired he was by his work.

Now, Kris Boyd has also reserved special praise that Tottenham manager target Julian Nagelsmann on Soccer Saturday,

“He won 60 out of his 84 games for Bayern Munich, it’s not bad going. But as I say, look at his record before, it’s not easy, he was under pressure, he’s a young manager and he has a win record of over 71% at Bayern Munich”

“I get the fact that you say he should have that, but Bayern paid £20m to get him and sacked him after 84 games. It doesn’t make sense. What I will say is that someone will be very lucky to get him because he’s a top manager.”

The pundit is right

While some downplayed Nagelsmann’s time in Germany, it takes an elite coach to make things look as easy as they did, even though they were not at Bayern.

But that is besides the point as Sky pundit Kris Poyd is certainly right about Julian Nagelsmann being a brilliant manager and that any club would be fortunate to have him in charge, a piece of advice that Tottenham should perhaps take on board.
