Tam McManus has stated on Twitter that he does not think that Alfredo Morelos wants to be at Rangers.

The former Hibernian forward, who now works as a pundit for PLZ Soccer, believes that Morelos has wanted to leave Rangers for about two years.

McManus has also claimed that Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is better than his Rangers counterpart.

The Scotsman made the comments while giving his take on speculation that Lille want to sign Morelos from Rangers in the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, Morelos has agreed personal terms to join Lille, with the French club now in talks with Rangers over a transfer fee.

Stats

Morelos scored 12 goals and provided three assists in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers last season, while in 2018-19, the 24-year-old Colombia international striker scored 18 goals and provided eight assists in the league, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Edouard scored 21 goals and provided 12 assists in the league for Celtic in 2019-20, while during the 2018-19 campaign, the 22-year-old French striker scored 15 goals and provided six assists in the league, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

It will be a massive blow for Rangers in their quest to win the Scottish Premiership title in 2020-21 if Morelos leaves.
