Darren Huckerby has said on Twitter that he wants Oliver Skipp back on loan from Tottenham Hotspur at Norwich City.

The former Norwich star, who now works as a pundit, has been impressed by the performances of Skipp so far this season.

Signed on loan from Tottenham in the summer of 2020, the 20-year-old midfielder has established himself as a key figure for the Canaries and is playing a big role in their quest to win automatic promotion back to the Premier League.

According to WhoScored, the 20-year-old has scored one goal and provided one assist in 41 Championship games for the Canaries so far this season.

The Tottenham-owned midfielder was in action for Norwich on Saturday afternoon, as they won 1-0 against Derby County away from home at the Pride Park Stadium in the Championship.

Huckerby has told a Spurs fan on Twitter that Skipp would not play much at the North London club next season, and believes that the midfielder would be better off spending another campaign on loan at Norwich, who are pretty much set to play in the top flight of English football next season.
