Rangers have been linked with a move to bring Steven Naismith back to Ibrox.

Pundit Davie Provan has told The Scottish Sun that he thinks Rangers fans should be welcoming back Steven Naismith with open arms amid rumours of an Ibrox return.
The Gers are busy working on new signings this month, having already landed Sean Goss and Jamie Murphy, with deals for Russell Martin, Jason Cummings, Jordan Jones and Greg Docherty also in the pipeline.
Manager Graeme Murty is looking to boost his squad, and rumours of a return to Ibrox for one player have been rife in recent days.

Norwich City forward Steven Naismith is out of favour at Carrow Road, and The Scottish Sun reported last week that he is willing to play for free until the end of the season in order to facilitate a move back to Rangers.
Naismith, 31, joined Rangers from Kilmarnock back in 2007, and went on to score 33 goals in 140 games for the Gers, becoming a fan favourite at Ibrox whilst winning three league titles.
The forward left Rangers after their liquidation in 2012, moving on to Everton in a controversial free transfer move, before joining Norwich in January 2016.
Naismith has endured a dismal season so far, playing just three times for the Canaries, leading to strong speculation that he will be heading back to Scotland during this month’s transfer window.

Some Rangers fans aren’t so keen on the idea of Naismith returning given the way he left, and pundit Davie Provan has told The Scottish Sun that he thinks Rangers must re-sign Naismith, claiming it’s a ‘no-brainer’ and fans are being somewhat ridiculous if they don’t want him back.
“In 2012, Steven Naismith had a decision to make,” said Provan. “Transfer his contract to the odious Charles Green and play in Scottish football’s bottom division or join Everton as a free agent and secure his family’s future for life. He did what any player with half a brain would have done.”
“Now despite having other offers on the table, the 31-year-old striker is offering to play for Rangers for nothing. For a club surviving on handouts it should be a no-brainer but Naisy is being told he’s not welcome by the hard of thinking. Even by Gers’ recent standards, this takes the biscuit,” he added.
