Tottenham Hotspur are in good form in the Premier League at the moment.

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has written in The Sun that for Tottenham Hotspur to hold onto their best players, they need to make sure that they win a trophy.
Tottenham have some of the best players in the Premier League, such as Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.
Under manager Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs have also progressed massively over the past three or so years.
Former Newcastle striker Shearer, though, believes that for the North London outfit to keep hold of their best players, they need to win a trophy by the end of next season.
“It’s exciting times for Tottenham right now,” Shearer, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport, wrote in The Sun. “But they MUST win a trophy by the end of the next season if they want to keep moving in the right direction.
“The next 18 months is going to be such a critical time for Spurs. We still don’t know if this season will be their last at White Hart Lane, or whether their new stadium will definitely be ready for 2018-19.
“But if they want their top players to be with them at their new home, they need to pick up some silverware.”
“I think Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will be able to resist big bids this summer,” added Shearer. “But top players want to win things — so that’s what Spurs must do if they want to keep their stars and attract new ones.”
Shearer’s comments may not go down too well among Tottenham fans, but the former Newcastle star does have a valid point.
There can be no denial that Spurs are an ambitious club and are on the up, but players will want to win major trophies and silverware.
Tottenham are still in the Premier League title race and have reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup this season.
