Could Chelsea make moves for Tottenham Hotspur duo Dele Alli and Harry Kane in the January transfer window?

Jason Cundy has been quoted as saying by The Daily Star and The Express that Chelsea should make moves for Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is scoring goals for fun at the moment.

The 23-year-old England international has scored 13 goals in 16 league matches for Spurs so far this season.

Alli, who is just 20 years of age, is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and is one of the most important players in the current Spurs team.

Former Chelsea and Tottenham defender Cundy, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, has suggested that Antonio Conte’s side should make moves to sign Kane and Alli.

“I love Harry Kane – I really do,” The Daily Star and The Express quote Cundy as saying. “And Alexis Sanchez’s contract situation is precarious too.

“But go after Harry Kane and Dele Alli. They can go to a proper club with ambition. They could with that sort of money.

“They had £60m for Oscar and £90m for Diego Costa, you can buy who you want with that kind of money. If you said to chairman Daniel Levy to £150m, they would go, wouldn’t they?”

Kane and Alli are talented and young players, and they would be good long-term investments for Chelsea.

However, would Tottenham be willing to see the duo to London rivals Chelsea, especially in the January transfer window?

The money Chelsea could offer for the duo would be massive and tempting, though. Moreover, Spurs are also building a new stadium and need the funds.
