Don Hutchison has stated on Twitter that ‘you can’t make this up’ after it was suggested that Liverpool should sack Jurgen Klopp and replace him with former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Liverpool midfielder had a dig at Pochettino by claiming that he has won ‘zero major trophies’ during his career, of course, there was no trophy success at Spurs, but he did win three honours, including the Ligue 1 title, during his days at Paris Saint-Germain.
But that’s not exactly a great feat given the stupid amount of money the Qatari-owned club has thrown at the team in comparison with their competitors in France.

Nonetheless, during the summer, Pochettino was sacked by PSG, and in recent months, there was talk of a possible Premier League return for the 50-year-old when Aston Villa sacked Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard.
But he is still a free agent, and following Liverpool’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Saturday, Pochettino’s name was brought up by a Liverpool fan on BBC Radio 5 Live’s 606 phone-in programme to come in as a possible replacement for Klopp.
Well, it’s fair to say that Hutchison didn’t take too kindly to that suggestion, as he sent this simple message.
KLOPP ISN’T THE PROBLEM
If you compare the resources Klopp has been handed, in comparison to his rivals, then he has done a far better job than people give him credit for.
Liverpool haven’t gone out and splashed nearly £150 million on two English players – Jack Grealish and Kalvin Phillips – who weren’t needed when they first joined Manchester City.
Equally, they haven’t spent nearly half a billion, yes, that’s half a billion, on players in less than 12 months. Whilst Liverpool’s American owners are looking to sell, the one at Stamford Bridge, Todd Boehly, is waving his chequebook at near-on every player Fabrizio Romano tweets about.
