Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has returned to his best following a lengthly injury lay-off.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ programme Goals on Sunday at 11:51 am on December 4th, Nottingham Forest legend and former England under-21 boss Stuart Pearce offered high praise for Harry Kane after his superb performance for Spurs during their 5-0 win over Swansea City yesterday.
The England international striker spent around six-weeks on the sidelines from September through injury, and it was no coincidence that Tottenham’s performances and results dramatically dropped off during that period.

And Pearce, who achieved 78 caps for England during his career, highlighted Kane’s loyalty to Spurs and his love for the club as something quite unique in the modern game, when speaking on Goals on Sunday:
“I like him as a man firstly, and as a player he’s outstanding. He loves the club he works for, leads the line well and he’s handled disappointment well when his form has come and gone. He will be in the Premier League for a good 10 years, delivering and scoring goals, and he’s so vitally important for Tottenham.”

Yesterday’s win over the Swans came at a vital time for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, who have had to endure heavy criticism over the past moth or so, after their intensity levels seemed to drop following their 2-0 win over Manchester City in October.
The Lilywhites were certainly back to their best during their emphatic 5-0 victory though, and their fans will now be hoping for a sustained run of victories as they head onto he Christmas period.
