Michael Dawson has said on Sky Sports News (2:18pm, March 11, 2023) that Ivan Toney is good enough to play for Arsenal and would love him at Tottenham Hotspur if Harry Kane left for Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

The former Tottenham defender believes that Toney would be a good signing for Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

The Sky Sports pundit has said that the 26-year-old Brentford striker is good enough for Arsenal, and has made it clear that if Kane left for United at the end of the season, then he would want Spurs to bring him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

According to TEAMtalk, Manchester United are interested in signing Kane from Premier League rivals Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

HITC View: Ivan Toney could easily step up

In our view, Ivan Toney is good enough to play for Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur.

We believe that the 26-year-old Brentford striker has what it takes to step up and move to the next level, if indeed he left the Bees at the end of the season.

Just look at how much the striker has progressed.

Toney could not make a massive impact at Newcastle United, but the Englishman did well at Peterborough United and then for Brentford in the Championship and is now starring in the Premier League.

The striker has scored 27 goals and created 19 big chances in 58 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

Now, Arsenal do have a very good front-line, and Toney would have to work hard to play week in and week out.

But, the 26-year-old does have the quality to at least be a squad player for the Gunners.
