Rodney Marsh says he is not dissuaded from his claim Everton are not a top half team.

They may have sold last season’s top scorer Romelu Lukaku, but hopes are high at Goodison Park that the club can finish in the top six, or even qualify for the Champions League by finishing in the top four.
So far it has been a mixed bag for the Toffees, who have won one, drawn one and lost one, defeated yesterday 2-0 by Chelsea.
This has been welcomely received by pundit Rodney Marsh, who tipped them to finish outside the top 10 last month, speaking shortly before Lukaku’s sale.
Everton presently sit in 12th place after three games.
Marsh took to Twitter yesterday to insist that he has seen little to suggest he was wrong.
Everton may not have had a perfect start, but it is important to remember they have faced two of last season’s top three teams away from home.
They have Tottenham Hotspur up next after the international break, but after that the fixture list begins to look a little easier.
This time next month Marsh’s prediction may not look so smart.
