West Ham United picked up a second straight Premier League win as they beat Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Having hammered Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 last weekend, West Ham were buoyant, even against a Leicester side who beat Manchester City 5-2 last weekend.

Michail Antonio opened the scoring with a well-placed header from Aaron Cresswell’s cross, before Cresswell found Pablo Fornals to make it 2-0.

Leicester just couldn’t cope with the Hammers, and were picked off again in the second half as Fornals threaded Jarrod Bowen through on goal, and he slotted past Kasper Schmeichel.

West Ham can be very proud of their performance, and with seven goals scored and none conceded in the last two games, they appear to be turning the corner.

Pundit Rodney Marsh was clearly impressed with West Ham’s performance, and picked out two players for particular praise.

Marsh took to Twitter to praise midfield pair Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice, branding them ‘absolutely brilliant’ as they worked tirelessly in the West Ham engine room.

Both players are absolutely vital for David Moyes now, and they proved their importance once again today with superb performances.
