Bayern Munich reportedly want Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp as the successor to Carlo Ancelotti.
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino suggested on the Weekend Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Sunday morning (broadcast from 7am, September 25, 2016) that Jurgen Klopp to Bayern Munich is not going to happen right now.
Klopp is in charge of Liverpool at the moment and has a contract with the Reds until June 2022, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The former Borussia Dortmund head coach has done a wonderful job at Anfield so far.
According to a recent report in The Express, German giants Bayern are looking at Klopp.
It has been reported that the Bundesliga champions want the German to be their next manager.
Carlo Ancelotti is the current boss of Bayern, having officially taken charge of the first team in the summer following the departure of Pep Guardiola to Manchester City.
According to The Express, Bayern regard Klopp as the ideal successor to Ancelotti, whose current contract at the Allianz Arena runs until June 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Former Chelsea striker Cascarino, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, does not believe that Klopp is going to leave Liverpool for Bayern anytime soon.
“Klopp and Bayern Munich I am thinking: there is absolutely no chance now,” said Cascarino on the Weekend Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Sunday morning (broadcast from 7am, September 25, 2016). “That is a non-story now.”
It is hard to see Klopp leaving Liverpool anytime soon, especially as he has a long-term contract and things are going so well.
Moreover, Ancelotti is a brilliant manager, and he is likely to achieve a lot of success with Bayern this season.
However, in the next two or three years, it should not come as a surprise if Bayern make a move for Klopp.
