Pundit Don Hutchison has taken to Twitter to urge Liverpool to sign three players – Joe Hart, Naby Keita and Alexandre Lacazette – as well as a new left back.

The Reds picked up a narrow 2-1 home win over Burnley on Sunday afternoon, with Emre Can’s strike handing Jurgen Klopp’s inconsistent side a victory.

Liverpool have now won three, lost three and drawn one of their last seven games, and whilst their titles hopes are virtually dead, they are still in the mix for a Champions League place.

Whether the Reds qualify for Europe’s premier club competition or not, manager Klopp must strengthen hi squad this summer, with a number of positions requiring some attention from the Anfield boss.

Loris Karius has struggled since his move from Mainz last summer, prompting Simon Mignolet to reclaim his spot as first-choice goalkeeper – and many believe that Klopp should target another shot-stopper this summer.

Alberto Moreno’s nightmares at left back mean that right-footed midfielder James Milner has been played as an emergency left back this season, whilst central midfield and centre forward are two more positions that many believe should be improved.

Now, former Liverpool ace Don Hutchison has taken to Twitter in order to suggest that four new signings are needed, backing moves for Joe Hart, Naby Keita and Alexandre Lacazette – as well as a new left back.

Goalkeeper Hart, currently on loan at Torino, seemingly has no future at Manchester City, and as a proven goalkeeper both in the Premier League and on the international stage, the England ace would give Liverpool a more dependable shot-stopper than Karius or Mignolet.

Midfielder Keita has been a key player for RB Leipzig this season having joined from sister club Red Bull Salzburg last summer, with his outstanding stamina and diminutive stature earning comparisons to N’Golo Kante, though the Guinean is more impressive going forward than the Chelsea ace – and should be familiar to Klopp given his displays in Germany.

Lyon star Lacazette has hit 28 goals in 34 games this season, including a stunning long-range strike against Roma last week, taking his tally to 104 goals in his last 172 games for Lyon; a record that has made him one of the world’s most in-demand strikers.

All three would be impressive signings for Liverpool, and another left back would also be sensible given Moreno’s struggles – and such moves could put Liverpool back into the mix for the title next season.
