ITV pundit Karen Carney has lavished praise on to Fabio Vieira for producing a moment of magic with his delightful assist for Mohamed Elneny, who scored the opener for Arsenal in their 3-0 win against Oxford United in the FA Cup.
As Mikel Arteta and Co. huffed and puffed for large parts of the tie, Vieira stepped up with an inch-perfect cross for Elneny, who opened the scoring.
Since signing from Porto in the summer, the highly-rated £82,000-a-week midfielder has largely been on the periphery of things at Arsenal.
However, Fabio Vieira decided to emerge as the difference maker against Oxford United in the FA Cup with an assist worth being proud of.
The elegant leftie was not just done for the night with his brilliant delivery for the rare goal scored by Mohamed Elneny.
For the second goal of the night as well, it was Vieira who slipped in Eddie Nketiah with a dream of a through ball, before the in-form striker did what he does best: put the ball in the back of the net.
However, a high-profile pundit remained awestruck over the youngster’s first assist of the contest.
