Trevor Sinclair has said on talkSPORT that Leeds United winger Raphinha is good enough to play for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City or Liverpool.

The former City winger, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, rates the Leeds star highly and has been impressed by what he has seen of him so far this season.

Sinclair believes that the 24-year-old Brazilian winger is so good that he can play for City, Liverpool or Manchester United.

Interestingly, Liverpool have been linked with Raphinha, with JuveLive reporting in February, as covered by HITC Sport, that the defending champions want to bring him to Anfield in the summer of 2021.

Sinclair said about Raphinha on talkSPORT: “I’ve been so impressed by Raphinha. He’s been outstanding in that final third being able to create goals and score goals.

“If you put Raphinha in one of the top sides, he wouldn’t look out of place. I’m not saying Leeds aren’t a top side, they’re a newly promoted Premier League side.

“But I think if you put him in a Manchester City or Manchester United or Liverpool side, he wouldn’t look out of place. He’s got that much quality on the ball.”

Big player for Leeds United

Raphinha joined Leeds in the summer of 2020 and has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water.

The winger scores goals, creates chances and works hard for the team, and the success he is having at Elland Road at the moment is fully deserved.

According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has made 18 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Marcelo Bielsa’s side so far this season, scoring six goals and providing five assists in the process.
