Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane’s form has been coming under scrutiny.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane’s form has come under the spotlight despite his best ever start to a Premier League season.
Kane has netted two goals in four games to begin the season, scoring in August for the first time.
There has been some suggestion that the goals have distracted from poor overall play, with Stuart Pearce and Tony Adams telling SkySports that they viewed his performances as ‘a concern’.
Adams’ former Arsenal teammate Alan Smith believes new signing Lucas Moura is a contributing factor to Kane’s performances changing.
He told The Evening Standard: “The introduction of Lucas Moura naturally has something to do with it. Kane now has a strike partner to think about, meaning the Brazilian’s positioning can dictate Kane’s, which was never the case in previous seasons when Tottenham’s No10 led the line on his own.”

Smith added that he feels fatigue and recovery from injury are also linked to Kane looking a little less dynamic than in previous seasons.
Kane has barely had a rest this summer and is currently back working with The Three Lions.
Lucas Moura’s presence in the Spurs team is a positive for the club, with the Brazilian scoring three goals so far this season including a brace away to Manchester United.
