It’s probably safe to say that Liverpool fans would love Paris Saint-Germain hitman Kylian Mbappe at Anfield – particularly after his heroics against Bayern Munich in the Champions League last night.

The 22-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool, lit up Europe’s elite competition once again by scoring a brace in a 3-2 PSG win over the German giants in Munich on Wednesday.

Mbappe, who scored a hat-trick against Barcelona in the previous round of the tournament, bagged a brace to reach the 30-goal mark in all competitions this season.

The France international is reported to have told his friends that he’d fancy a move to Liverpool during the summer.

And should that materialise, ESPN pundit Stewart Robson says that Jurgen Klopp would be getting the world’s ‘most dangerous’ player.

He told ESPN: “Is he the best player in the world? He’s the most dangerous player in the world right now. If we’re talking about goalscorers and strikers, yes he’s the most dangerous player in the world.”

Will Mbappe be joining Liverpool? Well, even if the player does want a move to Anfield, that’s only half the battle.

The other half involves a bid of around £200 million and considering Liverpool’s priority could and should be central defenders this summer, it’s probably safe to say that they won’t be breaking the bank to sign Mbappe.
