Tammy Abraham and Yannick Bolasie joined Aston Villa on loan from Chelsea and Everton respectively.

Winger Bolasie joined Aston Villa on loan from Premier League club Everton in the summer transfer window.
Striker Abraham moved to Villa on loan from Premier League giants Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Middlesbrough boss Pulls has claimed that he tried to sign the 29-year-old DR Congo international winger and 21-year-old England international striker in the summer.
Pulis told Gazette Live: “I think everyone knows we tried to get Bolasie, we couldn’t get him. We tried to get Abraham and we couldn’t get Abraham. We were in the game to get those players but couldn’t get them, that’s the nature of it.”
“If I was stood here now saying ‘we didn’t do this, we didn’t do that’, then yes you can have a moan and a groan but we were in for Bolasie, we were in for Abraham, we were in for quite a few others, it just didn’t happen,” added Pulis.
“They preferred to go elsewhere, more so for where the clubs were based than anything else, which is what you have to accept. That’s part and parcel of being in this area.”

Bolasie has made three starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Championship for Villa so far this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
