Gerard Deulofeu was deemed surplus to requirements at Ronald Koeman’s Everton, being sent out on loan in January to AC Milan.
He has been in impressive form for the Serie A side, scoring two goals and providing three assists in his 11 appearances for the club.
And according to Talksport, the 23-year-old Spanish international has attracted interest from Milan’s league rivals Napoli, as well as former club Barcelona
However, could Crystal Palace join the chase to sign the Everton man?
The Evening Standard has reported that Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is a transfer target for Tottenham and Manchester City. And with the opportunity of Champions League football and a big pay rise, Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce would be hard pressed to prevent the 24-year-old Ivory Coast international from leaving.
There would be big shoes to fill should Zaha depart the club in the summer, and Everton’s out-of-favour Deulofeu could be an ideal replacement to fill it.
With Deulofeu’s pace and willingness to run at defenders, he could be an ideal fit for the fast counter-attacking football that has seen Crystal Palace beat league leaders Chelsea and Arsenal in recent weeks.
