Brendan Rodgers led Celtic to their sixth successive Scottish Premiership title on April 2 with a dominant 5-0 victory over Hearts.

The 48th Premiership crown for the Hoops was sealed after 30 games, and they hold a 26 point lead over second placed Aberdeen, having not lost all season.

As Rodgers looks to guide the Scottish champions to an invincible league campaign, we look at what other teams across Europe command such healthy leads.

The New Saints FC – Welsh Premier League (25 pts)

The New Saints currently lead the Welsh Premier League by 25 points, having wrapped up their sixth successive title on March 3 with a 4-0 victory over Bangor City.

The Saints broke Ajax’s 44-year-old record for consecutive victories in a season, winning 27 in a row on the way to clinching their 11th Welsh Premier League title.

FC Basel – Swiss Super League (17 pts)

Swiss champions Basel are on course for their eight successive Super League title, 19th overall, having last failed to win the league in the 2008/09 season.

Europa League semi-finalists in 2013, Basel command a 17 point lead over nearest rivals BSC Young Boys with nine games left to play.

PFC Ludogrets Razgrad – Bulgaria A League (16 pts)

Ludogrets, who were formed in 2001, have recorded back to back league titles since their promotion to the A League in 2011.

The Razgrad based club look set to record their seventh title in a row as they lead nearest challengers PFC Levski Sofia by 16 points.

NK Maribor – Slovenian PrvaLiga (13 pts)

Maribor is the most decorated club in Slovenian football with 13 league titles and nine Slovenian Cups.

They finished runners up to Olimpija Ljubljana last season to end a run of five consecutive league titles, but look on course to record title number 14 as they hold a 13 point cushion over rivals NK Domzale and Olimpija.
