PSG have reportedly joined the race to sign England superstar Jude Bellingham, with Liverpool and Manchester City also being heavily linked with the Borussia Dortmund youngster.

According to Le 10 Sport, the French champions have entered the fray for the 19-year-old midfielder, with PSG keen to sign Bellingham in 2023 as the teenager continues to steal headlines for both club and country, though the report states that competition is fierce for the Bundesliga star.

Liverpool and City have both been linked with Bellingham, who could cost as much as €150m (£130m) in the summer transfer window, with Dortmund potentially rising the price tag even more if the wonderkid can push England to a strong finish at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Lauded by Three Lions captain Harry Kane as a ‘fantastic’ talent, Bellingham has been a star for England in Qatar this winter, with the midfielder starting every game of the competition and bagging his first international goal in a 6-2 win against Iran.

Whilst PSG’s interest might cause some problems for Liverpool and City, there could be little reason to worry for the Premier League giants even with the French giants’ endless stream of wealth, with Bellingham himself unlikely to be keen on a move to Paris and France.

Indeed, a return to England or signing for a Real Madrid or FC Barcelona feels like the more likely outcome for Bellingham in the summer. And although PSG can match any transfer fee Liverpool or City send Dortmund’s way, the 19-year-old will likely shoot down an approach from the Ligue 1 side.

The French league is no doubt a division that is improving with each passing season, yet for Bellingham, a shot at the Premier League will be an incredibly appealing option for the youngster next summer. Which is why the midfielder could do better than a move to PSG.

After all, Bellingham has the quality to become a superstar in England having established himself as one of the best midfielders in Europe. And for Liverpool and City, PSG’s interest will do little to worry themselves over where the youngster could end up in 2023.
