The Daily Mail have reported that PSG are ‘monitoring’ the situation of Michael Olise at Crystal Palace.

Ever since joining Palace for £8 million (BBC Sport) in 2021, Olise has cemented his reputation as one of the most prodigious young talents in the country.

No wonder a club of the stature of PSG are assessing the silky winger’s potential arrival one day.

With 1 goal and 4 assists in 11 Premier League starts for Crystal Palace this season, Michael Olise has impressed once again.

Blessed with nifty footwork, an eye for goal and a wand of a left foot, it comes as no surprise why Olise has been compared to the likes of Arjen Robben and Riyad Mahrez in the past.

The 21-year-old, who decided to represent France instead of England now may be the nation’s next up-and-coming superstar.

Perhaps that may well be a factor behind why PSG hold Olise in such high regard.

For the time being, let’s explore this surprising revelation.

According to a new report by the Daily Mail, PSG are keeping tabs on the situation of Michael Olise at Crystal Palace.

Christophe Galtier’s side are reportedly planning for the long-term and they have earmarked Olise as a ‘player to watch.’

Crystal Palace must be resigned to losing Olise

The fact that Michael Olise plays week in, week out for a club of the standing of Crystal Palace in the English game must be an honour for him.

However, Palace simply cannot compete with PSG, who are an established European superclub that battle it out for the Champions League every season.

As a Frenchman, Olise will likely be keen to a switch to PSG to become one of the faces of the biggest club in the country.

Keeping these factors in mind, Crystal Palace may have to be resigned to the fact that the fan favourite leaves for greener pastures.
