Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers have been linked with Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes, with Graeme Murty currently in charge of the Gers.

Rangers will make a move for Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes, according to The Scottish Sun.
It has been reported that Rangers could have to pay as much as £1 million in compensation to Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen in order to secure the services of the 46-year-old.
The former Rangers midfielder has been the Gers’ top managerial target since the departure of Pedro Caixinha, according to the report.

McInnes has been in charge of Aberdeen since 2013 and has done a wonderful job at the Pittodrie Stadium.
The Dons have finished second in the Scottish Premiership table for the past three seasons and won the Scottish League Cup during the 2013-14 campaign.
Former Celtic and Kilmarnock winger Provan has suggested that McInnes has hit the glass ceiling at Aberdeen amid speculation that Rangers want him as their new manager.

“Aberdeen’s midweek pounding at Ibrox should give Derek McInnes much to ponder,” Provan wrote in The Scottish Sun.
“The Dons might finish second this season, but it’s only a matter of time before Rangers overtake them.
“Will he still be a Granite City hero then? For all his good work, McInnes has one solitary League Cup win with the Reds. If that doesn’t convince him he’s hit the glass ceiling, nothing will.”
