Odubajo played under Mark Warburton before the former Rangers manager’s Ibrox tenure.

A player seemingly on his way to Celtic was once name-dropped by a former Rangers manager as he sought to defend his own recruitment record.
According to the Daily Record, the Hull City right-back Moses Odubajo is in talks to join the Bhoys at the end of his contract next month.
Hull paid £3.5 million for Odubajo three years ago, after he had impressed at Brentford under the management of Mark Warburton, who would later lead Celtic’s Old Firm rivals, Rangers.

And when his signings were called into question shortly before his Ibrox sacking in February 2017, Warburton, whose Gers were then 27 points behind the Bhoys, told the Scottish Herald: “The question would be are we (Rangers) any different from other teams, in terms of recruitment success rate?
“I could take you to Brentford and say we probably spent £3.25 million and it’s been sold for £45 million. Andre Gray was half a million quid. Moses Odubajo was a million quid sold for X million. Stuart Dallas was five thousand. Jake Bidwell, Adam Forshaw.
“We can keep saying that. We’ve proven ourselves in terms of buying players. Some go wrong – you can’t control injuries.”

Incidentally, Odubajo has spent the past two seasons on the sidelines, although he helped three clubs – Leyton Orient, Brentford and Hull – to a play-off place in as many campaigns before then.
Warburton spent nine months as manager of Nottingham Forest after leaving Rangers, but was sacked on New Year’s Eve.
Would Odubajo be a good addition for Celtic?
