Some Arsenal fans on social media have been raving over the way Mikel Arteta has set up the Gunners’ midfield in the last two games.
The Spaniard has been forced into a bit of a reshuffle due to Kieran Tierney’s injury, and it’s fair to say that Arsenal don’t look like they’ve missed the Scot, winning their last two games emphatically.
Arsenal lined up once again with Granit Xhaka at left-back, with Thomas Partey being the only holding midfielder in a formation that looked like a classic 4-3-3 with two more advanced midfielders ahead of the Ghanaian.
This allowed Partey to do what he does best, while Dani Ceballos and Emile Smith Rowe were able to focus on their creative duties.
