Jim Beglin has praised Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli on PremierLeague.com for his performance against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Sunday.
The former Liverpool and Leeds United left-back has said that Martinelli was a proper nuisance against the Reds.
Beglin made the comments while analysing Martinelli’s involvement in the second goal for Arsenal.
The 21-year-old Brazil international forward scored for the Gunners against Liverpool in the very first minute.
Martinelli was also involved in the second goal that Arsenal scored in first-half injury time.
Praise for Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli v Liverpool
Beglin said: “As they got a chance to break, Liverpool were up against it and stretched. Would the ball find Saka? It has. This fella Martinelli is a proper nuisance. It was too easy for Saka. Excellent again from the Gunners.”

Impressive performance
In our view, Gabriel Martinelli is an important player for Arsenal and is one of the most exciting young talents in world football.
The £41,000-a-week (SalarySport) Brazilian has established himself as a key figure at Arsenal and is one of the first names on manager Mikel Arteta’s teemsheeet when he is fit and available.
Martinelli was a problem for Liverpool throughout his time on the pitch and did not let the Reds’ defenders take a break.
The youngster’s pace is breathtaking, and he is also able to score goals and provide assists.
He is a gem.
