This time last year Marcus Antonsson was embarking on a prolific spell of form which saw him earn a move to Leeds United.
He scored 10 goals in 12 games for Kalmar, which took him to the top of the scoring charts.
Leeds paid £1.2 million for his signature, but the gamble has not paid off for either club or player.
Antonsson scored a crucial goal against Sheffield Wednesday in August but has not netted in the league since, with his opportunities restricted by the stunning form of 23 goal star Chris Wood.
An exit looks likely, and a club which should consider a move this summer are Scottish champions Celtic.

The Scottish league is less competitive than the English Championship, which could allow Antonsson a better chance of success.
Moussa Dembele has shown this already this season after his switch from Fulham, and with questions remaining over his own future at Celtic due to his outstanding form, Antonsson would represent a cheap and easy to sign replacement who could be worth the gamble.
Antonsson, 25, was linked with an international call up before Euro 2016 and narrowly missed out, and needs first team football to get his hopes back on track.
